Business Systems Analyst III – Consumer Lending Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III to join our Consumer Lending Technology team. This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver strategic enhancements across the consumer lending ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strong background in consumer lending , exceptional business analysis skills, and experience gathering and documenting requirements within an Agile environment. This role will support key initiatives focused on loan origination, system integrations, and digital lending capabilities while collaborating closely with development teams, application specialists, and vendor partners. Experience with MeridianLink is highly preferred. Candidates with experience in modern loan origination platforms such as nCino, Blend, or similar solutions are also encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and technical requirements. Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications. Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives. Create and manage user stories, epics, and defects using JIRA . Support enhancements and implementations within the consumer loan origination platform. Collaborate with API developers and technical teams on system integrations between lending platforms and enterprise applications. Participate in data mapping activities, including field mapping between applications and reviewing API schemas to ensure accurate integrations. Assist in identifying and documenting integration requirements for internal and third‑party systems. Coordinate with external software vendors during implementation efforts, helping resolve issues, escalating risks, and ensuring successful project delivery. Produce clear, comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional requirements, process documentation, and test support materials. Partner with application configuration specialists to support new platform capabilities and continuous improvements. Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience supporting financial services applications. Strong experience supporting consumer lending systems and processes. Demonstrated expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and traceability. Experience writing user stories and managing Agile work within JIRA . Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices. Experience working with cross‑functional business and technical teams. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong understanding of data analysis and data mapping concepts. Preferred Qualifications Experience with MeridianLink loan origination platform. Experience with modern lending platforms such as nCino, Blend, or similar Loan Origination Systems (LOS) . Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON/XML schemas, and system integration concepts. Experience collaborating with API developers on integration projects. Ability to review API documentation and identify mapping or integration issues. Experience supporting vendor‑managed software implementations. Exposure to securities‑based lending or wealth management integrations. Mortgage lending experience. Commercial lending experience.
