Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Deter, detect, and respond to security threats or incidents professionally and appropriately
• Control access points and monitor premises to prevent unauthorized entry
• Provide emergency response including de-escalation, detainment support, or coordination with law enforcement when required
• Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
• Interact with the public in a professional and respectful manner while enforcing site rules
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role required
• Licensing: Valid armed guard license where required by state law
• Legal authorization to carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable regulations
• Training: Certification in arrest control, restraint techniques, or equivalent defensive tactics
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local security and firearm regulations
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active or recent federal security clearance
• Prior experience protecting federal or critical infrastructure sites
• Training in conflict resolution, crisis response, or security management

Preferred Skills:

• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Effective verbal communication and de-escalation skills
• Professional judgment and emotional composure in high-pressure situations
• Ability to document incidents clearly and accurately

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to respond to incidents that may require physical engagement
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs as needed
