Overview
Labor & Delivery (L&D) Tech | Templeton, CA | Start 08/03/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,185-$1,251 per week | 36 guaranteed hours | 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a short-term acute care hospital setting

Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in labor, delivery, and recovery; support obstetric teams during procedures and ensure aseptic technique; assist with turnover of patient areas and supplies.
- Assist in operating room obstetric procedures; prepare, position, transport, and discharge obstetric patients as directed by nursing staff.
- Support deliveries by helping with patient preparation, positioning, transfers, and post-delivery care; participate in the obstetric surgical timeout.
- Collect urinalysis specimens; monitor maternal vital signs, weight, height, and intake & output; document findings accurately.
- Assist with activities of daily living and general patient care; help with room preparation, transport, and handoff communications; update census and charting as required.

Requirements
- CNA certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of recent OB/L&D clinical experience; vaginal delivery and cesarean section experience required
- 1 year OB experience preferred; Surgical Tech certification preferred
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree/Technical training preferred
- On-call as needed; ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting
