Junior Business Development Representative

Myriad Systems is looking for a motivated and coachable Junior Business Development Representative to help connect medical, dental and specialty healthcare practices with solutions that can improve their operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, appointment-setting or entry-level sales experience who wants to build a career in business development.

Compensation and Benefits

• $50,000 annual base salary
• Commission in addition to base salary

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls to medical, dental and specialty healthcare practices
• Speak with prospective clients using approved messaging and sales materials
• Ask questions to understand each practice’s needs
• Schedule qualified appointments for Outside Sales Representatives
• Accurately document calls, notes and follow-up information
• Confirm appointment details and provide clear handoffs to the sales team
• Participate in product training, coaching and call reviews
• Build a working knowledge of Myriad’s healthcare technology, payment and practice-management solutions
• Collaborate with Outside Sales, Quality Assurance, fellow BDRs and leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, customer service or a related environment is preferred
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Confidence speaking with prospective customers by phone
• Persistence and professionalism when handling rejection
• A goal-oriented and coachable approach
• Motivation to learn and build a career in sales
• Ability to use calling, scheduling, CRM and collaboration systems

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College coursework or comparable sales experience preferred
