Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You will work with approximately 30 students requiring 504 Plan accommodations and about 40 on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Your expertise will help ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential/certification
• Experience with K-9th grade students preferred
• Proficiency developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and 504 Plans
• Strong understanding of IDEA and Section 504 regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
• Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver specialized instruction in alignment with IEP/504 goals
• Coordinate and attend IEP/504 meetings, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning differences
• Serve as an advocate for students, promoting inclusion and equity in the classroom
• Maintain organized and confidential records for all assigned students
• Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and support staff
