About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Special Care Nursery Level 2 provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective coordination and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Evening shift What You Will Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them.
