Duties

Help

• Serve as an All-Source Intelligence Analyst in the Directorate for Intelligence and Security, J2, Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS), Truman Annex, Key West, FL.
• Analyze and process sensitive and classified intelligence data from sources utilized by All-Source Intelligence Analysts in the detection and monitoring of illicit trafficking activities for the organization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all-source analysis, information management, data capture, and threat visualization issues.
• Partner with intelligence personnel and analysts to ensure process and collection efforts support production.
• Provide all-source intelligence analysis, reporting, and production support to the detection and monitoring mission.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Temporary duty (TDY) travel will be required less than 25% of the time.
• This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
• This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85. (See Additional Information section below).
• A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes collecting, reviewing, or interpreting all-source intelligence; conducting or assisting with conducting briefings on intelligence data trends; providing recommendations to Leadership on processes or procedures; and planning intelligence-related analytic functions, projects, priorities, or activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-11).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
