Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our general practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients across a wide range of ages and medical needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys developing lasting relationships with patients, practicing independently while collaborating with the healthcare team, and providing preventative as well as ongoing primary care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments
• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic medical conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Prescribe medications and provide appropriate medication management
• Provide preventative care, health education, and wellness counseling
• Manage routine follow-up visits and chronic disease care
• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative health
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations and standards of care

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
• Active national board certification as an NP
• DEA registration and appropriate prescribing authority, as applicable
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of the healthcare team
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Experience in of primary care/general practice experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
