Summary The Utility Associate performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties while assisting with the preparation of food items, as instructed. Responsibilities Performs a variety of cleaning and organizing activities to include, but not limited to: Scrapes, stacks and loads pots, pans, dishes, trays, silverware and glassware into dishwasher; Scrubs pots; Unloads dishwasher and stores contents in proper locations; Cleans counters, tables and chairs; Cleans ovens, grill, deep fat fryer and steam tables; Sweeps, scrubs and mops floors; Cleans walls, windows and ledges; Drains and cleans dishwashing machine; Provides assistance to cooks, as instructed to include, but not limited to: May wash and slice vegetables; May carve meat and portion items; May wrap food items for serving or storage; May set up, tear down and replenish food lines; May gather ingredients; Uses safety/sanitation procedures to protect self and others. Other Information High School diploma or GED is preferred. Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire.
