IT Risk and Control Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical IT Risk and Control Analyst to support our organization's IT governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for strengthening security controls, ensuring compliance with IT policies and best practices, and supporting continuous process improvement across the IT department.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute planned testing activities, document findings, and ensure issues are resolved in accordance with Change Management policies.
Ensure all IT changes are properly justified, documented, classified, tested, and implemented within controlled environments.
Perform IT General Controls (ITGC) and application control reviews for both simple and complex information systems.
Continuously monitor risks across enterprise systems, including applications, physical access controls, and user activity.
Support the collection and organization of technical documentation for internal and external audits, as well as remediation efforts.
Serve as the liaison between application teams and risk management to coordinate the deployment of new and enhanced technology solutions.
Maintain and update departmental documentation, procedures, and control records.
Promote continuous improvement of IT compliance, security, and risk management processes.

Additional Skills

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in regulated IT environments.
3–5 years of experience in IT Audit, Change Management, Information Systems, IT Compliance, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices and IT control frameworks.
Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or other relevant certifications are highly preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
