Senior Project Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily field operations for commercial office renovations and tenant improvement projects in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, maintain schedules, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site subcontractors and trades. Monitor project schedules, workflow, materials, and deliveries. Ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and building codes. Enforce job-site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and building management. Identify and resolve field issues, delays, and construction conflicts. Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in commercial construction. You have a strong construction background and have successfully managed commercial office renovations, corporate interiors, tenant improvements, or similarly complex commercial projects in New York City. Knowledge of NYC building codes, DOB requirements, and construction safety regulations. Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and multiple project activities. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on-site in Manhattan. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with commercial projects in NYC. OSHA safety certification. Familiarity with NYC DOB inspections and project closeout procedures.
