2nd Shift: 4pm-12am/Midnight w/Mandatory OT As a Process Operator, you will maintain and operate all processing equipment and machines to produce snacks of the highest quality in a safe and efficient manner.Areas of Responsibilities:DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:Check schedules to see that the correct product is run, and product is directed to the correct line for packagingChange processing machines (fryers) over to different cuts, when necessaryRoutinely change knives to ensure product is of the highest qualityMonitor settings and make changes and adjustments, when necessaryContinuously check quality test readings for salt levels, moisture levels, oil absorption levels, defects, breakage, and colorRun samples on incoming potato loadsFill and monitor salt application machineryPerform minor maintenance on all systemsKeep areas neat, clean, orderly, and safeComplete and submit all required paperwork and checklistKeep open lines of communication with fellow departments, maintenance, production, QA, and supervisionWEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:Keep track of and report all maintenance required to be performed after weekly shutdownPerform weekly cleaning on fryers and surrounding areasWork with cleaning chemicalsAlways utilize all required PPEOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform any added duties as assigned by supervisionAttend required training sessionsWork overtime as requiredFollow GHP (Good Housekeeping Practices), as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Work toward attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications Education and Experience:REQUIRED:GENERAL EDUCATIONABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONPREFERRED:HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.ADVANCED SCHOOLINGAbout Wise:Wise Foods Inc.
