General Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Manufacturing OperationsResponsible for various manufacturing operations, processes & quality checks.Duties & ResponsibilitiesSafety - Carefully lift, handle, process & pack parts. Ensure safe workplace and follow all safety rules. Wear all required personal protective equipment. Report all accidents & any safety issues to Supervisor or Safety manager.Quality - Follow all SOP's and quality standards. Ensure 1st and 2nd verifications done, verify dimensions, etc., per work order. Inspect completed operations for quality, visual defects, accuracy & quantity. Detect & report defective parts to Supervisor / Lead. Report all required information & report router discrepancies.Training - Work with Supervisor, Lead, mentor to learn Pulverman processes & procedures. Learn various hand or power tool operations. Participate in relevant training activities.Productivity - Report productivity (setup & run) accurately. Report good material & scrap accurately. Work with Supervision to implement productivity improvements (daily). Work with Supervision to implement setup reduction strategies.Equipment - Operate the roller & various hand or power tools. Report all maintenance issues and work to resolve.Communication - Provide feedback to Management team for ideas & improvements. Express ideas & thoughts verbally in a positive & productive manner. Exhibit good communication, listening & comprehension skills.Workflow - Execute work plan per schedule.Work Expectations - Use hand or power tools based on drawings and work instructions. Transport product between work areas. Counts and packages completed parts to Customer requirements. Prepare finished product for shipping. Be a strong team player; assist team members to meet daily production goals. Pay close attention to detail & focus on assigned tasks. Be reliable and adhere to attendance policy. Maintain organization and housekeeping. Perform other duties as requested. Create Excellence Everyday.Physical Requirements - Lift, carry, push or pull frequently. Squat / kneel, bend, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead & outward. Sit, stand and walk. Ability to work in hot & cold work environment.Qualifications - Previous plant knowledge preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze production data, reports, spreadsheets & graphs - Able to read & interpret customer drawings preferred. Proficient using measuring tools. Equipment knowledge preferred.
