Territory Manager, Neuro - Houston, TX

Overview At BIOTRONIK Neuro, we’re ready to redefine relief for patients experiencing chronic pain. Leveraging BIOTRONIK’s advanced cardiovascular technologies, BIOTRONIK Neuro has created a new approach to SCS therapy management: one that’s not just implanted, but truly connected to the needs of patients and providers. BIOTRONIK Neuro is looking to add a Territory Manager to our Neuromodulation Segment in Houston, Texas (also recruiting for additional locations, see website). As Territory Manager you will gain market share and achieve sales quota in the spinal cord stimulation business by promoting, selling, and servicing the Biotronik product platform within an assigned territory. The Territory Manager performs field promotional work to sell and develop new business; it may include work with established accounts, or with customers where product acceptance has not been established. The role requires building strong relationships with key stakeholders in a dynamic sales environment, working independently to exceed sales expectations and contributing leadership at the Regional level. Tactical, strategic, and analytical business planning skills are essential. Responsibilities Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and offerings to existing and competitive customers. Support patients throughout the educational and clinical process for spinal cord stimulation therapy. Provide support and technical assistance during the use of BIOTRONIK products during procedures. Develop and implement quarterly sales plans and business reviews to achieve sales goals and objectives, while maintaining forward‑thinking strategies as protection for market shifts for sustained territory performance. Be a subject‑matter expert on BIOTRONIK products and platforms, adapting to changes in the clinical and competitive landscape. Build relationships with key stakeholders (physicians, hospital administrators, Allied Healthcare Professionals, etc.) within the assigned territory to identify opportunities to promote BIOTRONIK products and services. Complete administrative reporting as assigned (expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, inventory log). Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features. Manage time and company resources effectively to control unnecessary expenses/assets. Utilize sales collateral and sales support tools to support promotional and territorial needs. Train and educate both existing and new customers on the availability and use of BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio. Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned BIOTRONIK asset management, including inventory and capital equipment. Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bio Engineering, Business or an equivalent degree, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. 2+ years of medical device or biotechnology experience is required. 1+ year of interventional pain/spine experience in a sales role is preferred. Neuromodulation experience within the pain management market is preferred. Proven experience in implementing and leading Regional projects. Recognized Regional, Area or National Sales Award winners preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Competent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively work within a diverse and inclusive team‑oriented environment. Ability to build strong working relationships with external customers. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Experience with direct quota attainment and performance metrics. Solid experience and knowledge of the overall implantable medical device market. Ability to interface and interact with patients. Experience in making multiple referral calls daily. Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate a Windows environment, and learn Salesforce and Smartsheets. Willingness and ability to comply with all health and administrative facility credentialing demands. Compliance with FDA regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and compliance training assignments. Schedule flexibility for all business and clinical field responsibilities, including after‑hours and weekend duties. Ability to work in a geographically diverse business environment. Physical Demands Frequently move up to 40 lbs. from floor to chair/table and from one surface to another at approximately the same level. Constantly operate a computer, mobile device and other office‑productivity equipment. Frequent bending, squatting and balance activities. Must be independently mobile when performing duties. Constant interaction with a computer and communication with peers, co‑workers, healthcare providers and patients. Visually examine anatomical structures via radiographic imaging. Abide by medical facility mandated PPE requirements due to environmental exposures. Remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours total per day, and up to 4 hours continuously. Travel Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy. Travel within assigned territory >80% of the time. Travel outside of territory Provide 24‑hour, 7‑day a week on‑call territory coverage (including holidays, weekends, evenings). Available and willing to work and/or travel weekends and evenings to include calls outside of standard working hours.
