Behavioral Health Technician I Your role involves working evenings, in-person, Monday to Friday from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm. The purpose of your role is to focus on learning, creating a positive culture, and productively engaging with the team. You will support and ensure clients function safely, effectively, and efficiently while promoting the best quality and output standards. You will collaborate with your team and Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to ensure the maintenance or treatment fidelity, company policy, procedures, and client satisfaction is met to standards. Key performance indicators include zero documentation errors on a weekly basis, average facility audit score 90%, 5-7 hours per day of active facilitation/support on treatment floor, master of BHT competencies within 30-60 days of employment, live the OCD Anxiety Centers values by being an example of positivity, optimism, growth and change within your community of peers, reduce early discharges by a minimum of 10% and ALOS of a minimum of 52 days by ensuring treatment satisfaction. Competencies include demonstrating understanding of the client level system, disorder modules, EMR system, youth clients core concepts, behavioral contingency plan, Exposure Groups, DBT Groups, Specialty Skills Groups, systematic issues, Crisis Response Plan, de-escalation, crisis intervention and behavior management, controlled use key holder, kindles, IOP policies, telehealth, coping script, exposures in the community, weekly survey, food exposure items, and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include actively engaging clients through clinical interactions, providing high standards of helpful, professional, and caring treatment, facilitating groups, monitoring clients' daily activities, managing business resources, planning and implementing lesson plans, maintaining written documentation, mastering de-escalation techniques and crisis management, encouraging team engagement, expanding knowledge and skills, maintaining clients satisfaction, integrating OCD Anxiety Center's mission, adhering to all company policies and procedures, presenting self in a professional manner, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and other duties as assigned. The skills and expertise you have include some college or experience in a related field, ability to think critically, willingness to work as a team, proficient knowledge of computers, accurate and efficient electronic data entry, punctuality, organization, detail-orientation, initiative, multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, thriving in a changing work environment, and physical demands of the job. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, OCD, anxiety, trauma experience, and Spanish preferred.
