Corporate Transactions Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its corporate and business transactions practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana . This attorney will advise businesses, business owners, and other stakeholders on a variety of transactional and day-to-day business matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent businesses, owners, and other stakeholders in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other commercial and corporate documents.
• Conduct and manage legal due diligence and assist with transaction closings.
• Advise clients on corporate governance, organizational structure, succession planning, and other strategic business matters.
• Provide ongoing counsel regarding day-to-day business and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, practical, and business-focused legal counsel.
• Participate in business development, networking, and other activities that contribute to the growth of the practice.
• Manage multiple matters effectively while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent legal writing, drafting, and contract negotiation abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client service.
• Existing book of business or established client relationships are welcomed but not required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Wayne, Indiana . The attorney will join a collaborative legal team serving businesses and other clients throughout Indiana and beyond.
