Marley Rd., Olathe KS 66061 – 2nd Shift: 2:45 pm – 11:15 pm with daily and weekend overtime as needed. Pay $31.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. The successful incumbent will be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions well, and work effectively in a team environment. Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings correctly Set up and operate machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely fashion Perform part programming on machine Form, inspect parts for accuracy, place correct labels on parts and sort Assist in troubleshooting on machine when needed Safely and effectively use hand tools, computers, measuring tape, and machinery Qualifications High school diploma or GED not required but preferred Previous shake and/or brake experience preferred Physical Demands Lifting up to 100 pounds; 100+ pounds with assistance Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, working at heights, and using a ladder as required Ability to use both hands overhead Perform repetitive motions Plant environment with potential exposure to all types of weather, including excessive heat, excessive cold, and excessive noise SPX is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer committed to making selection decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation or identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr SPX Technologies
