Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A
Twist Bioscience
Twist Bioscience seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead corporate financial planning and analysis, managing monthly close and forecast cycles, building financial models and reporting infrastructure, and serving as the OneStream system owner. The role requires synthesizing financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership while driving continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly corporate close and forecast cycles, including scenario setup and reporting package production
- Serve as OneStream power user, maintaining system reliability and driving team productivity improvements
- Build and maintain three-statement financial models tied to actuals and review-ready for leadership
- Analyze variances and trends against plan, and support quarterly earnings preparation and benchmarking
- Present findings directly to business partners and senior finance leadership, including the CFO
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of financial planning, analysis, and modeling experience
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of all three financial statements and their interconnections
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and hands-on use of AI tools
- Ability to communicate complex financial analysis to finance and non-finance audiences
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines
