Work Environment

Our Miami facility is designed for optimal patient engagement and comfort, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and tools essential for effective therapy. The onsite setting allows our team of therapists to work closely with patients in a hands-on manner, fostering secondary collaboration with multidisciplinary teams when necessary. The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured environment ideal for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of critical tasks, including:

• Understanding and adhering to state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practices.
• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate patients' functional limitations and disabilities, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Performing detailed evaluations that include reviewing patients' medical histories, conducting specific assessments, and documenting outcomes and recommendations.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that consider evaluation findings and align with evolving healthcare environments.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration, consulting with other healthcare professionals as deemed necessary while monitoring and documenting any changes in patients' conditions.
• Overseeing appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring clear and accurate documentation related to patient care activities.
• Completing all required corporate and clinical training while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Attending facility meetings to remain informed and contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving patient access and reduction of barriers to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, a diverse group ranging from postoperative recovery to sports injuries. You will utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to manage pain, enhance mobility, and restore functionality in patients, ensuring each individual receives customized care tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.
• Current certification in CPR.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional skills or experience in specific therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, or sports rehabilitation may be beneficial to your application.

Compensation and Benefits
