Work Environment

You will work onsite at our dynamic rehabilitation facility, which offers a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Interactions with patients typically occur Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance while you dedicate your time to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and conditions, establishing clear therapy goals based on their unique needs.
• Maintain patient treatment schedules, ensuring a manageable caseload of one-on-one therapy sessions, and dedicate ample time for personalized patient care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans integrating various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy and exercise programming, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Employ cost-effective interventions aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Educate patients on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Utilize EMR software, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment effectiveness, and necessary adjustments in care plans.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain issues. Providing tailored care to a diverse clientele, including athletes, elderly individuals, and post-operative patients, you will use your specialized knowledge to deliver effective treatment solutions that align with each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no records of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to adapt treatment protocols based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating familiarity with common procedures and therapies.
• Experience utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to facilitate efficient patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 75,000 to 95,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
