Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred for therapy to create tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust evidence-based treatment programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities, manual therapy techniques, and exercise prescription to facilitate recovery.
• Actively engage patients and their caregivers in the rehabilitation process, providing education on treatment protocols and encouraging active participation in their recovery.
• Ensure excellent customer service and contribute to a supportive environment that enhances patient experience and outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care, including referring physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Track and document patient progress comprehensively and consistently to meet utilization goals and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Your clinical expertise will span a diverse patient population, including:

• Orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain management.

• Neurological rehabilitation clients with conditions such as strokes or traumatic brain injuries.
• Athletes or active individuals seeking sports medicine rehabilitation to return to their peak performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by proficiency in electronic health records and computer systems.
• A compassionate demeanor and the ability to build rapport with patients to help them exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

Although not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous for this role:

Compensation and Benefits
