Work Environment

This role is onsite at our modern outpatient office in Miami, Florida. The work environment is collaborative and professional, designed to foster healing and recovery. You will collaborate closely with two other physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, working in state-of-the-art treatment rooms equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' individual goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, implementing evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility and function while ensuring a supportive environment.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on self-management strategies to reduce dependence on medication and provide alternatives to surgery.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs to promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjustments to care plans, ensuring effective treatment delivery.
• Document patient care services accurately using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuing education and skills development to stay current with best practices in orthopedic therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Our patient population includes athletes, post-operative patients, and individuals seeking to improve their functional mobility. Each patient presents unique challenges, and our therapists are dedicated to customizing treatments that promote optimal recovery outcomes while respecting their personal goals and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License, free from any disciplinary actions or board actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and exercise techniques, demonstrating a strong clinical skill set.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist, with a focus on orthopedic outpatient treatments.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective patient care plans in a clinical setting.
• Experience working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Gotham Enterprises Ltd offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
