Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, performing specific assessments, and formulating individualized treatment plans.

• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring that they are engaged in the goal-setting process.

• Implement treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique presentation and rehabilitation needs, adapting techniques based on ongoing assessment of their progress.

• Document patient care activities comprehensively, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations to ensure clear, accurate patient records.

• Participate in consultations with other healthcare providers as necessary and modify care plans based on changes in patient conditions or needs.

• Meet or exceed productivity expectations while managing patient schedules effectively, attending all required meetings punctually, and contributing to departmental goals.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and marketing initiatives to enhance the clinic's visibility and accessibility.

• Pursue opportunities for professional development through continuing education and training, thereby enhancing skills and competency in line with best practices.

• Promote an exceptional patient experience by demonstrating flexibility and empathy in navigating patient care concerns and access barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current license to practice physical therapy in accordance with Florida state regulations.

• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required, making this an ideal position for recent graduates eager to start their careers.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and physical therapy assessment tools is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
