Our facility encompasses 5,000 square feet of cutting-edge sports medicine resources, designed to provide exceptional therapeutic care to our diverse patient population. We are committed to delivering personalized treatment, tailored to individual needs, while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among our staff and patients alike.

Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our Miami rehabilitation facility, where you will engage in one-on-one patient interactions in a warm, inviting atmosphere. As part of a cohesive team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will benefit from an environment conducive to growth, learning, and sharing of best practices. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-balanced work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' goals and clinical needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of individual patients, providing dedicated care during scheduled sessions.
• Utilize your expertise to deliver cost-effective modalities and therapies that improve mobility and function.
• Implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse treatment techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
• Educate and motivate patients to promote active participation in their recovery journey and overall health in alignment with their personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams and consult with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation of all services provided through our EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus centers around providing exceptional orthopedic care to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions. The majority of our clientele are individuals with private medical insurance, allowing for tailored and interactive treatment plans that emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse group of patients ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to older adults seeking improved mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Maintain an impeccable professional record, ensuring no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the creation of effective exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly beneficial.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience working as a physical therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Experience in developing comprehensive care plans and evidence-based treatment programs.

Compensation and Benefits

Core Motion Orthopedic Therapy offers a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
