Fit Movement Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our Miami, Florida rehabilitation center. Work Environment

As an onsite role, you will be immersed in a vibrant rehabilitation center environment, working closely with a hands-on team that includes fellow physical therapists and certified physical therapist assistants (PTAs). Our collaborative work culture allows for interdisciplinary support, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care. The center features modern treatment rooms and rehabilitation spaces designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions and improve patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical limitations and challenges, while establishing tailored treatment plans in alignment with their personal health goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating focused one-on-one care to each individual, ensuring they receive the attention and support necessary for successful rehabilitation.
• Administer evidence-based treatment modalities aimed at enhancing joint mobility, strength, flexibility, and balance to foster optimal recovery.
• Design and implement customized exercise protocols and home exercise programs, promoting safe and effective practices between visits.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a holistic approach to patient care, including orthopedic surgeons, primary care doctors, and other specialists.
• Regularly assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all care services accurately in our electronic medical records system (WebPT).
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, required exercises, and wellness practices to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical patients recovering from knee, hip, or shoulder surgeries, as well as those with chronic pain or sports-related injuries. The diversity of our patient base allows for a rewarding experience as you help individuals from various demographics regain their movement and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary action against your license.
• Proven expertise in orthopedic manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation exercises.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and techniques.
• Experience developing wellness and prevention programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges between USD 80,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
