Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and supportive, operating onsite at our rehabilitation center in Miami, Florida. Your typical workweek will run from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a stable schedule to facilitate a work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify and address the unique goals and requirements of each patient.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, seeing one individual per hour and providing focused, personalized care.
• Design and implement effective treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to maximize each client's recovery and performance.
• Engage in active communication with patients, motivating and encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and document all patient interactions in EMR systems, specifically WebPT, ensuring accurate and timely records.
• Devise customized fitness and wellness programs that emphasize strength, flexibility, and mobility to enhance overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist in our practice, you will be at the forefront of facilitating recovery, enhancing movement capabilities, and improving the quality of life for patients of all ages. With a focus on prevention and rehabilitation, you will help reduce patients' reliance on medications and avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing personalized exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is required, candidates with specific experience in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or recovery from surgical interventions will be highly regarded. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in physical therapy practices is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Family First Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
