Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluation of patient assessments and physician referrals.
• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations including diagnostic and prognostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities for pain relief and functional enhancement.
• Monitor patient progress, record initial evaluations, and update treatment records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation exercises and care plans to promote adherence and empower self-management of conditions.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure the effective delivery of care and adherence to established treatment protocols.
• Participate in case conferences with interdisciplinary team members to discuss and enhance patient treatment strategies.
• Evaluate the home environment of patients as needed and make recommendations to promote rehabilitation and independence.
• Maintain open lines of communication with referring physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and care modifications.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by engaging in training and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves an orthopedic patient population, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to sports injuries and chronic pain management. You will engage with a diverse clientele that includes active individuals seeking to restore mobility and athletes aiming to regain competitive performance. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A strong passion for patient care, clinical excellence, and strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly with orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques and modern rehabilitation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
