This full-time position focuses on providing personalized care to patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite within our dedicated outpatient office, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. Our facility is designed to encourage patient engagement and progress, with well-maintained therapy spaces and access to advanced rehabilitation equipment. Working alongside two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will enjoy a cohesive team dynamic focused on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish individualized treatment goals and plans for each patient.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring engaged and thorough treatment sessions.
• Utilize effective and cost-efficient intervention strategies to enhance patients' ranges of motion and mobility.
• Reduce patients' reliance on medications through holistic approaches and alternative options to surgical procedures.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
• Provide high-quality, personalized care grounded in current research and effective interventions.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their journey to optimal recovery, encouraging adherence to treatment protocols.
• Foster healthy lifestyle habits by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated patient care.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and provide continual monitoring of patients' progress to adapt care plans as necessary.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment services accurately and timely, utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting mobility. You will work closely with a diverse demographic, including athletes, active adults, and seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your role will be pivotal in tailoring interventions that resonate with each patient's lifestyle and rehabilitation goals, ensuring effective and empathetic care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an advanced degree such as a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Candidate must maintain a clear professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development is essential.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
