Work Environment

Our modern outpatient office, spanning over 5000 square feet, is designed for integrated and individualized patient care. The facility includes advanced therapeutic equipment and dedicated spaces that foster rehabilitation and recovery. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you a clear work-life balance. With a patient load averaging one individual per hour, your schedule is structured to provide ample time for personalized patient interactions and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients to identify their specific needs and therapy objectives.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating therapeutic techniques aimed at recovering mobility and enhancing overall functionality.
• Administer effective therapies that focus on improving clients' range of motion and physical abilities while aiming to reduce reliance on medications and surgery.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs that meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient services, treatment progress, and outcomes to ensure compliance and improve care delivery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily cater to individuals with orthopedic concerns, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Your expertise will be vital for patients seeking to recover their functionality and return to daily activities or athletic performance. The patient demographic generally includes individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring focused care without overwhelming insurance constraints.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a related field is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No disciplinary actions on professional license and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program design, and familiarity with EMR software such as WebPT.
