Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Miami Beach, providing a welcoming environment with access to advanced resources and equipment. You will work alongside a dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all aligned with our mission to prioritize patient-centered care. The facility is designed to encourage collaboration and effective communication, fostering an integrated approach to patient treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals and needs, tailoring individual treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care.
• Employ your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to deliver cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' mobility and functionality.
• Develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques to achieve optimal results.
• Implement tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at promoting health and preventing further injury.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, motivating them to actively participate in their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and document patient progress to ensure clear communication with the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. As a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in restoring their strength, flexibility, and balance through tailored rehabilitation programs. Your hands-on approach will empower these patients in their recovery, emphasizing not only physical restoration but also overall wellness.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) preferred.
• Possess an active and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your professional license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting with direct patient care.
• Demonstrated success in implementing diverse therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance treatment efficacy.

Compensation and Benefits
