Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate functional limitations, medical history, and individual needs to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust physical therapy interventions based on ongoing assessments and feedback from patients.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver orthopedic therapy, including modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education on safe practices for daily living.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration by consulting with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers to enhance patient care strategies.
• Prepare patients for discharge by organizing follow-up care plans and ensuring they understand their treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Participate in regular team meetings to review patient outcomes and adjust treatment protocols as necessary.
• Uphold the ideals of the organization by maintaining clinical certifications and participating in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist within our facility, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your treatment will cater to diverse backgrounds, embracing a holistic approach to therapy that incorporates not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional and psychological support for our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be an advantage, as well as training in contemporary therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Hype Motion Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
