This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Work Environment

As a full-time Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work onsite within our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with the latest technology and resources. The center spans 5,000 square feet, providing ample space for effective treatment and rehabilitation. You will collaborate closely with a small team, including other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, ensuring a cohesive and supportive workplace. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to accurately assess each patient's physical condition and progress.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address individual patient needs, ensuring effective and evidence-based interventions.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of patients efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour.
• Incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, providing guidance on preventive strategies and self-management techniques.
• Document patient care and treatment outcomes thoroughly, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and achieve optimal rehabilitation results.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, and sports-related injuries. Many of our patients are insured through private medical insurance, ensuring a diverse client base seeking effective rehabilitation solutions. Your expertise will empower them to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is strongly preferred.
• Current and valid Florida state license to practice physical therapy.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong knowledge and experience with orthopedic manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated competency in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records software, specifically WebPT EMR Software.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient facility.
• Background in sports medicine or rehabilitation is a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing patient caseloads in a fast-paced physical therapy environment.

Compensation and Benefits
