Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite, allowing therapists to deliver care in the comfort of patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and goals to develop customized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve patients' strength, mobility, and pain management, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities as needed.
• Monitor and record patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans to reflect changes in patient needs and responses.
• Educate patients and their families about exercise regimens, activity modifications, and lifestyle changes to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, including referrals for additional services as necessary.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss complex cases and share best practices, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will apply your clinical expertise to tailor interventions that address specific functional impairments, promoting recovery and independence. Our clients range in age and health status, requiring an empathetic and personalized approach to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong understanding of contemporary orthopedic therapy techniques and rehabilitation best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in documentation and use of electronic health records (EHR) to track patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant experience in an orthopedic physical therapy setting, with hands-on patient care.
• Experience working in home health, providing therapy services in various environments.
• Knowledge of health promotion and disease prevention strategies as they relate to orthopedic care.
• Familiarity with outcome measure assessments and utilizing feedback to improve therapy processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
