Work Environment

You will work onsite in our outpatient office in Hialeah, Florida, where a supportive and collaborative atmosphere fosters professional growth and development. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and technology to facilitate effective treatment plans. Working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will engage with a diverse range of patients and health professionals in a vibrant community dedicated to enhancing health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans that address patients' specific orthopedic needs.
• Administer evidence-based treatment techniques aimed at improving patients' mobility, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment protocols as necessary to align with evolving goals and needs.
• Deliver patient education regarding exercise, wellness practices, and self-management strategies to optimize recovery.
• Foster a motivating environment that encourages patients to achieve their maximum potential through dedicated support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide seamless patient care and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients facing a variety of orthopedic challenges, including musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will interact with a broad demographic, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive care and communication.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is mandatory; however, candidates with a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy are preferred.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.
• Strong foundation in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients and healthcare providers.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly in treating musculoskeletal injuries.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate patients from varied backgrounds and with different personalities.
• Knowledge of modern physical therapy practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, in addition to performance-based bonuses.
