Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including a review of patient history and specific assessments, to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.

• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations and clinical findings to ensure optimal results for patients.

• Document patient progress accurately and in real-time, ensuring that treatment notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations meet all regulatory standards.

• Engage in regular consultations with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, comprehensive care when necessary.

• Maintain respectful and effective communication with patients, their families, and third-party payers, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the treatment process.

• Attend and participate in team meetings to share insights, discuss treatment efficacy, and contribute to staff training and developmental efforts.

• Stay abreast of the latest industry standards and best practices by completing required trainings and complying with local, state, and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse orthopedic patient population, including those recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, falls, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will be vital in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence through tailored therapy programs. Our team emphasizes a holistic and supportive approach, ensuring patients feel cared for and understood throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• A valid state-issued Physical Therapy license for Florida.

• American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, and the ability to adapt to new technologies used in patient assessment and treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
