Work Environment

The role will require you to work onsite at our outpatient office in vibrant Miami, Florida. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic while serving our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapeutic care that addresses the unique needs and goals of each patient, fostering an open dialogue regarding their treatment.
• Manage a reasonable patient caseload to ensure that adequate attention is given to each individual during their sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy to develop and implement treatment strategies that improve motion and functional performance.
• Utilize clinically effective and cost-efficient treatment modalities that help patients regain their mobility and return to their daily activities.
• Provide non-surgical rehabilitation alternatives that prioritize patient wellness and encourage natural healing processes.
• Design comprehensive rehabilitation plans that utilize various therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's recovery trajectory.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices to deliver effective interventions and reinforce patient engagement in their rehabilitation journey.
• Support patients with motivational strategies throughout their treatment phases to enhance adherence and confidence during recovery.
• Promote lifestyle changes that improve health by focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body mechanics.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, including physicians and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly assess patient progress through ongoing evaluations and adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress and treatments using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, as you will be working with individuals who are eager to regain their physical abilities and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to qualify for this role.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Florida (FL) without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and modalities to enhance patient comfort and recovery.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Adept in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, enabling efficient and accurate documentation of care provided.
• Deep understanding of current research and techniques in physical therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with sports medicine will be an advantage in addressing the needs of athletic patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
