Camelback Physical Therapy is inviting applications for a Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients regain motion and enhance their physical well-being. Camelback Physical Therapy operates a state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Miami, Florida. We are a privately-owned practice that prides itself on offering exceptional care to our clients. Our facility is designed with advanced equipment and resources to support a wide array of orthopedic treatments, and we primarily serve patients covered by private medical insurance. Our close-knit team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), focused on delivering personalized care in a collaborative environment.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Miami rehabilitation center, where we maintain a professional yet friendly atmosphere. The full-time schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing our staff to maintain a work-life balance while providing dedicated patient care. Our facility spans 5,000 square feet, showcasing advanced sports medicine technology designed to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve their specific health goals.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement cost-effective treatments that improve clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Apply advanced techniques aimed at reducing patient reliance on medications and minimizing the need for surgical interventions.
• Formulate comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic methods tailored to each patient's condition.
• Design and execute individualized fitness and wellness programs, aligning with the unique recovery trajectories of our patients.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive and encouraging clinical experience.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and seamless communication regarding treatment progress and outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care services, progress notes, and treatment outcomes using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes to monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily caters to individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Each patient presents unique challenges, requiring a customized approach that leverages our expertise in physical therapy to foster significant improvements in their mobility, strength, and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Possession of a valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Clear professional record with no history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the implementation of exercise protocols.
• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully developing treatment plans and achieving patient outcomes.
• Background in working with a diverse patient population, adapting treatment approaches as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
