Work Environment

The role involves managing a standard 40-hour workweek with variable weekend hours to accommodate patient needs and maximize accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, utilizing evidence-based practices to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive consultation regarding a patient's continuum of care, addressing concerns and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
• Engage with patients of diverse backgrounds, delivering care that respects their age, culture, and individuality while adhering to our high standards of customer service.
• Implement and monitor personalized treatment and discharge plans, ensuring documentation aligns with professional standards and legal regulations while meeting organizational productivity targets.
• Maintain effective communication through written, verbal, and electronic means with patients, the interdisciplinary treatment team, referral sources, and physicians to enhance care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, ranging from those recovering from sports injuries to individuals who have undergone surgical procedures. You will develop specific interventions designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance strength, working diligently to help each individual regain independence and functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) conferred from an accredited educational institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Valid CPR certification ensuring preparedness for emergency response within the healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation facility with a focus on orthopedic patients is highly favorable.
• Proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities for treating orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead patient education initiatives and community outreach programs related to preventive care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
