Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Exercise professional judgment to assess patients and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual needs as referred by their physicians.
• Utilize various modalities, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and pain management techniques, to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring precise communication with other healthcare providers.
• Provide education to patients and their families on conditions, prognosis, and self-management strategies, fostering an understanding of the recovery process.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance interdisciplinary care and improve patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the therapeutic environment by providing excellent customer service and ensuring high patient satisfaction rates.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vestibule Physical Therapy, you will treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients improving mobility, neurologic cases requiring specialized rehabilitation, and athletes seeking to restore peak performance post-injury. Our goal is to maximize each patient's functional potential through a comprehensive approach rooted in respect for individual differences and recovery timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; Doctorate preferred.
• A valid License to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and team members.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience
