Mobility Works Physical Therapy is actively seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient team in Miami, Florida. Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our comfortable and well-equipped outpatient facility, designed to facilitate effective patient care. You will work alongside a diverse team of experienced therapists and medical staff who share a common goal: to provide the best therapeutic outcomes for our clients. Our schedule operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans targeting their unique functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to the state's practice regulations and professional standards.
• Perform various assessments, document evaluation results, and adjust treatment plans based on patients' responses and evolving healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive care while recognizing and addressing changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate adjustments to the care plan.
• Facilitate discharge planning, providing clear follow-up instructions and ensuring appropriate documentation of patient progress throughout their course of care, including detailed encounter notes and progress summaries.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development by attending conferences, in-services, and team meetings, contributing to an environment of growth and education.
• Maintain compliance with all corporate policies and state/local regulations concerning practice standards for physical therapy.
• Maximize patient quality of care through effective time management and treatment delivery amidst departmental productivity goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a member of our team, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic conditions, and neurological disorders. Our commitment to personalized care ensures that each patient receives tailored treatment aimed at enhancing their physical capabilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and nurture positive relationships with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proven expertise in patient care and treatment methodologies.
• Experience working with digital health applications or solutions related to physical therapy is a plus.
• Current CPR certification to ensure preparedness in emergency situations.
