Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including a detailed review of medical history and appropriate physical assessments to form a tailored treatment plan.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and collaborate with patients and their families in setting meaningful treatment goals.
• Implement customized treatment protocols based on individual evaluations and adjust plans as necessary in response to patient progress or changes in healthcare guidelines.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations when required and document noteworthy changes in a patient's condition to adapt care plans as needed.
• Manage discharge planning for patients, ensuring they understand their care trajectory and follow-up appointments, while accurately documenting all interventions and progress notes.
• Adhere to productivity benchmarks while maintaining an organized schedule; actively participate in departmental and community marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements, continuously seeking ways to enhance care delivery.
• Pursue opportunities for professional development through workshops, classes, and training sessions to expand clinical expertise.
• Promote an exceptional customer experience by showcasing flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs, helping to remove barriers to access care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, focusing on rehabilitation following surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage closely with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, affording you the opportunity to employ varied therapeutic approaches catered to each individual's needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current physical therapy license for the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
