Work Environment

You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment surrounded by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare experts. The role will primarily be onsite during regular business hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a structured and supportive work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, including their strengths, limitations, and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic modalities, focusing on promoting optimal recovery.
• Employ cost-effective treatment strategies to enhance patients' mobility, emphasizing non-surgical methods and minimizing medication dependencies.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs.
• Motivate patients by providing guidance and support throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet established goals.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of patient treatments and progress using EMR software, particularly WebPT.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to promote holistic patient care.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest physical therapy practices and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Empire Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient population including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients seeking rehabilitation after surgeries, and individuals dealing with chronic pain or mobility issues. Our approach is tailored to each patient's unique circumstance, ensuring that everyone receives personalized attention and care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and be licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
• Accurate and current knowledge about physical therapy practices supported by recent research findings is required.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy and creating effective exercise programs.
• Strong proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate patient documentation.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.
• A record free of sanctions or board proceedings, showing a commitment to ethical practice and professional integrity.

Compensation and Benefits
