Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Miami, Florida, known for its collaborative and positive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, restoring muscle function, and enhancing overall physical performance according to established care guidelines.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective execution of care plans and adherence to prescribed therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities through diagnostic assessments, including muscle, joint, and nerve function tests.
• Review and assess clients' home environments to make informed recommendations that promote independence and support rehabilitation goals.
• Administer a range of therapeutic modalities including manual exercises, traction, and modalities involving physical agents such as heat or cold.
• Assess, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians for any necessary modifications.
• Document all clinical encounters thoroughly and timely, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Engage actively in case conferences with interdisciplinary teams to develop and refine comprehensive care strategies tailored to individual client needs.
• Educate clients and families about their therapeutic programs, supervising the use of physical therapy equipment and ensuring proper technique.
• Maintain communication with clients and families, providing support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation journey while keeping up with clinical documentation and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
