Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Physiolife, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed to foster healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and collaborating with physician prescriptions to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore optimal functioning.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring the faithful implementation of treatment plans while providing guidance as needed.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using a range of diagnostic tests tailored to muscle, nerve, joint, and overall functional assessments.
• Assess clients' home environments to determine necessary modifications that facilitate independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and physical modalities, guiding clients through both manual and non-manual techniques.
• Fit, evaluate, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, making modifications in conjunction with physicians for optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure an accurate account of each patient's treatment journey.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to design and refine comprehensive care plans during case conferences.
• Provide continuous education and guidance for families and clients regarding therapy devices and ongoing care to foster engagement in their recovery process.
• Complete other ad hoc assignments that enhance the overall goal of delivering outstanding rehabilitation care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a physical therapist, ideally within a rehabilitation facility.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A commitment to ongoing education, demonstrating genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage and instruct clients and their families.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent upon experience and qualifications.
