Work Environment

This position is exclusively onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Miami, where you will work in a dynamic team environment. You will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse range of professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation specialists, all of whom contribute to a supportive and motivating atmosphere. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours a week, providing structure while encouraging a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances while maintaining clear communication with the referring physician.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced therapeutic techniques to promote recovery in various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Provide direct patient care, administering therapeutic exercises and modalities aimed at restoring functions and reducing pain.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols, home exercise routines, and lifestyle modifications to ensure continuity of care outside the facility.
• Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage actively with patients to foster a trusting relationship that promotes adherence to therapy plans and motivates them to reach their functional goals.
• Meet established productivity metrics while contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy State License in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• A strong desire to build rapport with patients and contribute positively to their care.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is required.
• Current CPR certification is essential to ensure patient safety during care.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teamwork will be beneficial as you coordinate care with various healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
