Active Movement Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our Hialeah, Florida Rehabilitation Center. In this full-time position, the Physical Therapist will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through targeted interventions and evidence-based treatment protocols. You will be expected to assess individual needs, design personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic techniques to address physical injuries, cognitive impairments, and various disabilities.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Hialeah, our Rehabilitation Center offers an engaging and supportive onsite work environment. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation nurses. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine the medical necessity of physical therapy services and develop individualized Plans of Care that adhere to nationally recognized clinical guidelines.
• Provide comprehensive documentation of clinical findings and treatment progress, identifying trends and opportunities for provider education.
• Engage in Peer-to-Peer Consultation, collaborating with other therapists to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines before case reviews by the Medical Director.
• Conduct timely clinical reviews of PT service requests, ensuring relevant clinical information such as diagnoses, evaluations, and standardized assessments are thoroughly analyzed.
• Maintain compliance with all established policies and procedures within the organization, ensuring high standards of care are consistently met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse array of patients who may experience limitations due to physical injuries, chronic illnesses, developmental conditions, or mental health challenges. This includes adult and pediatric populations, allowing you to apply your expertise in a variety of clinical scenarios. The focus is on fostering each patient's independence and enhancing their physical and cognitive capabilities through tailored rehabilitation efforts.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to proficiently provide care across both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is essential, along with familiarity with hospital-based medicine.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a physical therapy role, ideally within both clinic and hospital environments.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a busy caseload effectively while maintaining quality of care.
• Experience in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and assessing patient outcomes will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
