Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Deep Care, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians and formulating customized treatment plans.
• Administering evidence-based therapeutic interventions targeting various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and sports-related rehabilitation.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes by participating in case reviews and shared treatment planning.
• Providing ongoing education to patients and their families about therapeutic procedures and home exercises for optimal recovery.
• Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Meeting productivity and utilization objectives while ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be utilized as you treat a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and pediatric cases. You will engage with patients at different stages of recovery, establishing rapport to facilitate effective communication and relationship-building. By focusing on individualized care, you will help patients achieve their specific functional goals and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program. Candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will be given preference.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in physical therapy. Experience in diverse treatment areas, including orthopedics, sports medicine, and pediatrics, will be advantageous.
