Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient team in Hialeah, Florida. This full-time role involves working directly with patients to restore their mobility and optimize their quality of life through targeted rehabilitation strategies.

This role is set within a dynamic rehabilitation facility dedicated to delivering high-quality outpatient orthopedic care. The environment fosters collaboration among staff, including two experienced physical therapists and a licensed physical therapist assistant. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and collaboratively establish achievable goals that align with their rehabilitation objectives.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment interventions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop strategies focused on enhancing patients' mobility and functional independence.
• Implement cost-effective treatment approaches aimed at increasing range of motion and functional abilities while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Create and execute individualized care plans that may incorporate physical exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques.
• Design wellness and fitness programs that align with patients' specific rehabilitation goals.
• Provide personalized care grounded in clinically supported practices and motivational techniques.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and physical activity to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure that patient care is comprehensive and integrated.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, document care services meticulously, and communicate progress with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role encompasses a diverse patient population requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Patients may include those recovering from surgeries, sustaining injuries, or managing chronic pain conditions. Your role will be vital in helping them regain functionality and improve their quality of life through effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• An accredited Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate (DPT) are preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record, free of any disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing tailored exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for managing patient documentation and progress notes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including seniors and athletes requiring post-injury rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, reflecting the expertise and value you bring to our team.
