Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, delivering care directly within patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical abilities and needs through a thorough evaluation process.
• Develop and implement personalized evidence-based treatment plans focused on enhancing patient mobility and strength.
• Utilize a range of physical therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to provide holistic care.
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients who have orthopedic injuries or conditions, including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will help individuals regain independence and restore functional mobility, positively impacting their daily lives and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, specifically in orthopedic care.
• Strong independent judgment and critical thinking skills for effective diagnosis and intervention strategies.
• A passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through compassionate practice.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
