Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customized physical therapy treatment plans focused on preventing disability, alleviating pain, and optimizing muscle function for patients recovering from orthopedic conditions.
• Directly assess and evaluate patients using diagnostic techniques to determine their functional level, establishing a foundation for their personalized care plan.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring the seamless execution of treatment plans and adherence to best practices in therapy administration.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of the home environment to recommend modifications that foster patient independence and safety.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and the application of physical agents such as traction or ultrasound, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document all evaluations, treatment progress, and changes in the clients' conditions meticulously and maintain accurate records in compliance with OASIS standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively plan and assess patient treatments, contributing insights to the holistic care of each individual.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to refine your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on patients grappling with a variety of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will interact with a diverse client base, ranging from young athletes to elderly individuals seeking to regain mobility and function. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in providing physical therapy services, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
